Event Description

The RSPB has been running its Garden Birdwatch for over 40 years and its one of the largest citizen science projects in the UK. Anyone can take part, whether you have a garden or not, and you don’t need any special equipment or lots of time.

All that’s needed is one hour over the weekend of 29th-31st January. Jot down the birds you see in your garden, or in your local park if you don’t have a garden. All the information you need about how to take part and submit your results is on the RSPB website here.

The results of the survey really help make a difference to our birds, spotting trends in populations and helping to take the first steps to helping any species in trouble.
