PhD Research on the conservation and illegal trade in marine turtles

I am writing to your organisation because of its work on marine turtles and expertise on their conservation and trade.

My name is Lauren Lopes and I am currently conducting a research study on conservation and illegal use and trade in marine turtles as a part of my MSc thesis project supervised by Dr. Axel Paulsch (University of Bayreuth) and Dr. Ana Nuno (University of Exeter). The goal of my research is to identify current priority management and conservation measures for addressing illegal use and trade in marine turtles at the global level.

I would like to kindly invite you to take part in a short online survey (~14 min. of your time) by contributing with your knowledge on the use, trade and conservation of these threatened species. The survey will be open until April 23rd, and your contribution could help guide present and future policy and action for marine turtle conservation. The survey is quite simple and does not require long elaborate answers. It is anonymous and no individual details will be identifiable from it.

If you would like to participate, please click the link below:

Take the survey!

Your participation truly is appreciated.
