CCF Policy Debrief: The 11th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 11), UNEP-WCMC, Friday 9th November 1-2pm

CBD COP 11 took place in Hyderabad, India, 8th-19th October. The meeting took stock of progress in global biodiversity policy two years after the adoption of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 with its ambitious Aichi Biodiversity Targets and the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-sharing. At this CCF event, speakers of BirdLife, IUCN and UNEP-WCMC – who attended COP 11 – presented the key results of COP 11 and provided their views on the status of implementation of the global biodiversity agenda and the relevance of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
