A group of Cambridge students are organising the Cambridge International Development Conference 2020. Currently in its 13th year, Cam.IDC is well established amongst the University and wider Cambridge community alike.

The students work in close collaboration with the Centre for Global Equality (CGE). The CGE is a network of NGOs, academics, businesses and individuals. In the last year alone, they have been involved in over 110 projects in 79 countries across the globe working to reduce extreme poverty. This year’s conference theme is ‘Rising Tides: Meeting the Challenge of Inequality in the Age of Climate Change’, how the ramifications of climate change disproportionately affects poorer communities and how climate change works to further perpetuate that inequality. The Conference will be held on 15 February 2020, and is expected to be attended by over 150 guests.

Sponsoring the Conference enables you to reach out to University of Cambridge students and attending speakers and organisations. Moreover, there are over 1100 people following updates on the Conference’s Facebook page and we expect that number to continue to increase with our publicity efforts.

The Sponsorship Package is attached, where you can find out about the Silver (£200), Gold (>£400), and Platinum (>£600) levels.
