The Cambridge Global Food Security IRC EARLY CAREER RESEARCHER TRAVEL
FUND 2019 is now open for applications from members of the network.

 

 The Cambridge Global Food Security IRC invites applications to its 

Early Career Researcher Travel Fund 2019 

 

Support is available for Early Career Researcher members of the Cambridge Global Food Security IRC who wish to travel in connection with their global food security-related work. 

 

Eligibility 

The Fund is open to University of Cambridge PhD students or post-doctoral researchers who are members of the Cambridge Global Food Security IRC. Travel must enable interdisciplinary networking and sharing of ideas and perspectives. 

How much can I apply for? 

Awards of between £500 and £1,250 are available to support travel, accommodation and subsistence costs. 

Additional requirements 

Those receiving awards are requested to submit six photographs of their trip alongside a short travel report, following the completion of their travel. Awardees are encouraged to present their travels at a Showcase and Networking Event to be held at 4-6pm on Friday 13th December 2019, where there will be prizes for the best presentation and best photographs.
