Amphibian and Reptile Conservation

Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ARC) is a national wildlife charity committed to conserving amphibians and reptiles and saving the disappearing habitats on which they depend.  ARC supports and promotes conservation through the management of nature reserves, coordination of species action plans and influencing policy and legislation at local, national and European levels.  In doing this, we engage a wide range of people, agencies and organisations; developing key skills, knowledge and interest as a means toward an end to the current declines in many of our native amphibians and reptiles. We also provide information, education and training to a wide range of people, from those working in the field to people wanting to know more about the wildlife in their area.
