Location : Perhentian Islands, off North East coast of peninsular Malaysia
Duration: min. 6 months ( from March 2018)
Full-time, Volunteer ( after 6 months, you will be paid a small monthly allowance)
Our internships for Turtle Conservation and Marine Biology are all based in the beautiful Perhentian Islands, off the North East coast of peninsular Malaysia.
TURTLE VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
If you love turtles and want to build on our photo ID database of sea turtles in the Perhentian Islands plus sharpen your management and leadership skills, then please dive in.
DIVE LEADER & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Join us in the warm tropical waters of the Perhentian Islands and help complete the first sea grass and coral reef mapping of the islands. You will help the leader to train volunteers and then lead them during research dives. After the mapping is complete, we have the opportunity to plan for artificial reefs around the islands.
RECYCLING AND WASTE MANAGEMENT LEADER (Perhentian Islands)
A new role to give a boost to previous recycling schemes and ride the wave of the current global Ocean Rescue campaigns. You are bound to gain valuable skills that can be appplied worlwide.
