Senior Conservation Scientist, RSPB

We are seeking an experienced conservation scientist to develop a portfolio of applied research in support of the conservation objectives of the RSPB in the UK. We are looking for a post-doctoral scientist with a clear track record of designing and delivering ecological research, and of publishing in the peer-reviewed scientific literature.
We would particularly welcome applications from scientists having experience in one or more of the following areas: ecology & conservation of ground-nesting birds, managing wildlife-predation conflicts, agricultural ecology, landscape-scale modelling of land use for wildlife & ecosystem services. The role sits within the RSPB's Conservation Science Department and is likely to carry line management responsibility. The preferred location is RSPB HQ in Sandy although other locations will be considered.

Salary starting at
£29,507 to £31,966 per annum. Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range.
