Prinipal Conservation Scientist, RSPB
We are seeking an established conservation scientist to develop a portfolio of applied ecological research in support of the conservation objectives of the RSPB in the UK.
We are looking for an experienced post-doctoral scientist with a track record of designing and delivering research projects, of developing collaborations and of winning external funding. We would particularly welcome applications from scientists having experience in one or more of the following areas: ecology & conservation of ground-nesting birds, managing wildlife-predation conflicts, wetland management, landscape-scale modelling of land use for wildlife & ecosystem services. The role sits within the RSPB's Conservation Science Department, carries line management responsibility and will preferably be based at RSPB HQ in Sandy (other locations will be considered).

Salary starting at
£34,643 to £37,529 per annum. Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range.
