BirdLife Cyprus seeks experienced bird surveyors for volunteer work in Cyprus in Spring/Summer 2018

Excellent birding skills are a minimum requirement. Volunteers must be abel to easily recognise all Cyprus breeding species by sight and sound or have sufficent field experience to get very swifly up to speed.
The primary role will be to carry out monitoring surveys for common breeding birds, including the endemic Cyprus wheatear and Cyprus wabler, under the Common Breeding Bird Monitoring Scheme, as well as noctural survesy for owls stone curlews anad nightjars and driven surveys for European roller.
Lots of attractive birds, great habitats and a chance to spend some time in the Mediterranean. BirdLife Cyprus has a limited budget to cover accommodation, living and fieldwork expenses for selected volunteers.
