Plants and their uses (medicinal & otherwise)
Gwenda Kyd is a science writer interested in the chemistry and folklore of plants. She will talk about some of the uses (and misuses) of a range of plants including as drugs, and some of hte plants that might benefit us in future.
The talk will take place in the David Attenborough Building, Cambridge and tea/coffee will be available beforehand from about 18:15.
There is a small admission charge: £2; £1.50 for CNHS members; students (with ID) 50p; ARU Wildlife Society & Cambridge University Nature Society members and under 18s free.
