In September last year, CCI collaborated with New Networks for Nature to host two days of arts, science and nature discussions and presentations in the Babbage Theatre, a programme that included a wide range of workshops and discussions, and which concluded in an inspirational address from David Attenborough: http://www.newnetworksfornature.org.uk/events_archive.htm.
This year’s New Networks for Nature meeting is taking place in Stamford, Lincolnshire, and kicks off on Thursday evening, November 16, with Sir Tim Smit, founder of the Eden Project, and Patrick Barkham, author and journalist, in a conversation chaired by the author and radio producer, Mary Colwell.
A full programme on Friday and Saturday includes talks and performances by Michael Benton, Philip Hoare, Erica Fudge, Mike Edwards, Katrina Porteous, and Sam Lee, and many others, as well as an exhibition of new work by the painter and printmaker, Carry Akroyd.
