International Women's Day 2018 - Celebrating Women in Science and Conservation
Join the Museum and Department of Zoology and CCF’s Women in Conservation Leadership Network as we celebrate the contributions of women in science for International Women’s Day 2018. Be inspired by the talented women working in Zoology and Conservation Science. With a keynote talk by Professor Rebecca Kilner of the Department of Zoology at 6pm, and the chance to chat to researchers and practitioners about their work and careers at ‘Meet the Scientist’ stalls from 4pm, don’t miss this opportunity to find out about world class research and innovative conservation practice taking place in Cambridge!
The event will take place at the Museum of Zoology, University of Cambridge. Contributors are currently being sought - we are looking for researchers and conservation practitioners (particularly women) who would be happy to chat to the public about their work and careers at pop-up ‘Meet the Scientists’ stalls. We are also looking for posters highlighting the work of women in science, projects about gender and conservation, and profiles of women in conservation and zoology and what they do. If you would like to get involved, please download the contributors form and send to Roz Wade, Learning Officer at the Museum of Zoology (email@example.com) by Wednesday 31 January 2018. Thank you!
