Consultative Workshop on Sustainable Wildlife Management
On June 25-26, TRAFFIC, on behalf of the Collaborative Partnership on Sustainable Wildlife Management (CPW), would like to invite all CCI partner organizations to participate in the Consultative Workshop on Sustainable Wildlife Management beyond 2020. The workshop will be held in David Attenborough Building.
The workshop aims to explore the role of wildlife management in shaping a Post-2020 Global Framework for biodiversity. Supported by the CBD Secretariat, the current chair of the CPW, the workshop programme will include the exchange of information on the ongoing work in the area of sustainable wildlife management, and help develop a contribution to the development of a post-2020 Global Biodiversity framework with the focus on wildlife management.
The wide representation of relevant work is welcome across research and practical applications, in particular around the following areas: Wildlife, food security and livelihoods; Human-wildlife conflict; Wildlife offtake/harvesting/hunting and trade; and Animal and human health.
We would appreciate for those interested in participating to register their interest by using the following link till 31 May 2019.
Please feel free to forward this to others who you think might be interested and get in touch with Anastasiya Timoshyna firstname.lastname@example.org and Kristina Rodina Kristina.Rodina@fao.org in case of any questions.
