CNHS talk on "Exhibiting Ice Age Cambridge" - David Attenborough Building, CB2 3QZ
The first talk in the Cambridge Natural History Society spring programme will be on Thursday 8th February 2018.
Douglas Palmer, will give a talk entitled “Exhibiting Ice Age Cambridge”. In it he will outline the process and problems of preparing an exhibition on ‘Ice Age Cambridge’. Much of the available museum material is historical, dating from the early 19th century before there was any knowledge about the ‘Ice Age’. The last 200 years or so have seen an extraordinary growth in understanding of this major event in Earth history.
