CCF Management and Restoration Group – Wandlebury Country Park

The CCF Management and Restoration Group (MARG) is open to site managers and others associated with habitat restoration and management who wish to discuss and share ideas on solutions to particular site management and restoration issues.  There is no joining procedure for the group - just book for the events you wish to attend.

All are welcome to the fifth meeting of MARG will be hosted by Cambridge Past, Present and Future at Wandlebury Country Park on Thursday 4th May from 1600 to 2030.  The focus will be two-fold: (a) on practical conservation management and issues associated with managing a complex public-access site with biodiversity, archaeological and heritage interests in habitats from chalk grassland to woodland, and (b) on ensuring and managing connectivity to other sites in the local landscape.  See further information at link below.

The programme and timings are as follows:-

1600hrs Meet at Wandlebury Country Park

1600-1900hrs Introductory talk and discussion followed by a walk to several sites within the Country Park.

1900hrs Discussions at a BBQ at Wandlebury (optional)

2030hrs or thereabouts disperse.
