CCF council meeting
Dear CCF Reps
We would like to invite you to the next CCF Council meeting on 6th September in the Seminar Room of the David Attenborough Building in Cambridge, and very much hope that you or a deputy will be able to attend for your organisation.
The key issues we would like to discuss at the meeting are: (1) Brexit: how might it affect CCF members? How CCF could or would like to inform the Brexit discussion in terms of nature directives and agricultural policies?; (2) the future priorities of CCF; and (3) an update on discussions with our members, review of the Constitution, CCF events, CCF desks and the Endangered Landscapes Programme.
It would be particularly useful if you could think about item (1) beforehand and share your ideas and suggestions at the meeting. Please feel free to suggest other items to discuss. We will circulate a detailed agenda and documents for the meeting closer to the date.
The meeting will take place from 5-6:30pm, followed by a wine reception and some snacks, locally sourced by Cambridge on a Plate. So as usual, we will have time to socialise after the meeting.
Please let Judith Schleicher know if you or a deputy are able to join the meeting.
